How do you help struggling readers?

In the first session, students complete a phonics assessment to determine reading skills to target. Aspiring Minds uses the UFLI Foundations curriculum to build systematic phonics skills. Each lesson includes taking words apart (decoding), putting words together (writing), and becoming familiar with irregular words (sight words).

How can you help my child get better at math?

First, each new student’s foundational math skills are tested through assessments utilizing placement exams. Next, each session will incorporate review and a new concepts to further their skills.

How much does tutoring cost?

Each 30 min session is $25.

When do you offer tutoring?

During the summer months scheduling is very flexible. The tutor will send out her availability through a Calendly link and families are able to reserve sessions on their own.

During the school year, each tutor will have set times each week to meet with their student.
